Many of us have gardens with loads of lovely plants, but how many of us know what is safe for our animals?

The link below will bring up a pdf file with a table of poisonous plants, the parts that are toxic and their symptoms.

This list is only to be used as a guide and there may be other plants or plant parts not listed that are also toxic. In case of concern please contact your vet without delay and if possible take a sample of the plant with you to aid identification.

The colour coding on the chart is a guide to the toxicity of the plant:

Red - very toxic
Blue - moderately toxic
Green - mildly toxic
